Critical infrastructure data that impacts the productivity of the business service and product value chain is collected in locations such as Data Centers, Smart Facilities, regionally distributed edge IT centers providing turnover flow or branch offices, and transformed into information through a network. Full isolation of the Smart Infrastructure network independent from the organization’s IT network is impossible for business enterprises due to both cost and management.
